Kay Madrick Joins Kentucky Humanities Team

Kentucky Humanities is pleased to announce the appointment of Kay Madrick as its new Development Director. Madrick, a seasoned fundraising professional from Louisville, brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit development, donor relations, and strategic philanthropy to the organization.

Madrick joins Kentucky Humanities with an impressive track record in advancing nonprofit missions through fundraising, grant writing, and community engagement. Her career has been dedicated to fostering relationships that support nonprofit organizations across the Commonwealth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kay Madrick to our team,” said Bill Goodman, Executive Director of Kentucky Humanities. “Her passion for the humanities, coupled with her deep understanding of donor stewardship and fundraising strategies, will be instrumental in furthering our mission to share Kentucky’s stories and enrich communities across the state.”

As Development Director, Madrick will lead fundraising efforts, strengthen partnerships, and engage supporters in initiatives that promote Kentucky’s rich cultural heritage. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Kentucky Humanities as it continues to expand its impact and outreach.

Kentucky Humanities partnered with Ashley|Rountree and Associatesa Louisville-based firm supporting nonprofit fundraising, campaigns, strategic planning, marketing and executive recruitment among others—to conduct the search that led to Madrick.
