As Kentucky Humanities explores different possibilities of hosting a scaled-back version of an in-person Kentucky Book Fair on November 14 at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park, it would be helpful to us if you would complete this short survey, by August 1, 2020 in order that we can evaluate how to proceed with planning this event. Your feedback as a past Kentucky Book Fair volunteer would be most helpful.

Please note: at this time we are evaluating several options, one of which is an in-person, smaller event, inviting fewer authors and limiting the number of patrons in the building at one time. But this option would still require the use of volunteers (only a fewer number of them). Please provide us with your feedback.

If the Kentucky Book Fair were to hold a scaled-back, in-person event at Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park on November 14 with consideration of and provision for all safety and cleanliness measures (all volunteers would be provided PPE and sanitizer, etc.), how likely are you to feel comfortable volunteering?

Greeting attendees at a COVID safe distance.

Asking attendees who fail to mask, to please put one on.

Assisting with wiping down books, door handles during a 30 minute planned break in the day.

Being part of the tear down of the event, consisting of 10 people per designated area (all in PPE)

Asking patrons to socially distance themselves from others
